PRESIDENT - Paige Roberts is a junior at C.G.May
Boces where I study cosmetology. As a 2026-2027
NYSSkillsUSA Officer, I look forward to representing
career and technical education students and
encouraging leadership throughout the state. An
Essential Element of the SkillisUSA Framework that
stands out to me is Teamwork, because without the
collaboration of a team, not much can be
accomplished. Teamwork teaches you how to be
open-minded, listen to others' opinions, and to be
able to accept change and find a mutual
understanding. Through involvement in SkillsUSA, I
hope to continue developing leadership skills while
making a positive impact on others.
SECRETARY - Isabella Burton is a student at
Herkimer BOCES where I study Cosmetology. As a
2026-2027 NYSSkillsUSA State Officer, I am proud
to represent CTE students and share my passion
for creativity and confidence through my work. My
favorite SkillsUSA Framework Essential Element is
Teamwork, because I believe that teamwork is built
on trust, accountability, and a shared commitment
to one another. Through SkillsUSA, I hope to
encourage others to create strong teams, and
successful organizations by understanding the
SkillsUSA framework.
TREASURER - Kaleb Baldwin is a junior at
Wswhe Southern Adirondack Education Center
BOCES and I take the Culinary Arts and
Hospitality class. As a State Officer for the 2026-
2027 school year I know that I must make an
impression not only for myself but for NYSSkills
USA. My favorite Essential Element is
communication. With working in the kitchen I
realize that communication is key for success,
hard workers should speak clearly and
effectively. I believe that communication is
listening and being able to understand others
struggles that are going on around him.
PARLIAMENTARIAN - Grace Deal is a senior at
Oneida Herkimer Madison BOCES where I am in the
Health Explorations program. As a newly elected NYS
SkillsUSA State Officer for the 2026-2027 school year
I am thrilled to represent New York State. I am
excited about the opportunity to meet new people
and work at spreading positivity and excitement
about SkillsUSA. I plan to focus on increasing
membership within my chapter and showing them
what Skills USA really is. With the SkillsUSA
Framework in mind, my favorite essential element is
Responsibility. I want to be a voice for those who feel
they are not heard.
REPORTER - Brooke Dunkelberger is a student
in the Allied Health program at her local CTE
center. As an active member of SkillsUSA I am
dedicated to championing career and technical
education. My favorite SkillsUSA Framework
Essential Element is adaptability, I believe it is
essential for success in the healthcare field. I am
committed to growing my personal, workplace,
and technical skills and making a positive impact
through my involvement and role in SkillsUSA.
HISTORIAN - Madelyn Danaher is a junior at
Robert H. Gibson Technical Center where I study
Criminal Justice. As a NYSSkillsUSA Officer, I am
excited to help promote the goals of SkillsUSA
across the state, reaching as many students as
possible. My favorite SkillsUSA Framework
Essential Element is self motivation because it
not only benefits students in a personal manner,
but it provides a foundation for leadership.
Through SkillsUSA, I hope to spread the Essential
Elements to help foster confidence among
students.
AREA I VP - Alana Frank is a junior at WEMOCO
Career and Technical Education Center (Monroe 2-
Orleans BOCES), where I study Dental Assisting. As a
2026-2027 Area 1 NYSSkillsUSA Officer, I am
intrigued to represent CTE students across the state
and help promote student leadership. My favorite
SkillsUSA Framework Essential Element is Self-
Motivation because I believe strong leaders must be
able to maintain momentum through challenges,
enhance productivity, and model resilience for their
teams. I hope to grow as a leader while helping other
students find their voice through SkillsUSA.
AREA II VP - Rhiannah DeVoe is a high school student
from Adirondack High School with a strong interest in
leadership, career and technical education, and
SkillsUSA. As I work toward serving as a SkillsUSA state
officer during my senior year, I hope to help promote
SkillsUSA and encourage more students to get
involved. I am active in my school community through
clubs, leadership opportunities, and varsity soccer. I
balance my academics, activities, and responsibilities
outside of school with commitment and determination.
I am interested in the medical field, especially
kinesiology and health sciences. Through SkillsUSA, I
hopes to continue growing as a leader while making a
positive impact on others.
AREA III VP - Skye Hodgson is a junior from
WSWHE BOCES Southern Adirondack Education
Center, where I am enrolled in the Culinary Arts
and Hospitality program. As NYSSkillsUSA Area III
Vice President, I am passionate about advocating
and helping create opportunities for growth,
leadership, and service for all members. My
favorite SkillsUSA Essential Element is Work Ethic,
because it is the foundation for achieving
success. I am committed to making sure every
chapter and member feels heard, supported, and
empowered to grow their skills.
AREA IV VP - Cameren Thibault-Edmonds is a Senior
at Ulster BOCES in Kingston, NY where he studies
Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing. As a NYSSkillsUSA
Officer, I plan to represent my Area IV the best way
possible – whether through nailing down issues my
area faces and/or creating solutions with the team,
maintaining a positive and mature attitude to
everything I do as part of SkillsUSA. My favorite
SkillsUSA Framework Essential Element is Teamwork.
Through SkillsUSA, I hope to create better
opportunities for all NYS schools, via fundraisers and
fairs to help spread awareness of SkillsUSA as an
organization, and help foster my area locally.
AREA V VP - Ekam Dhillon is a junior at the High
School For Construction Trades Engineering and
Architecture in Queens, New York where I study
Architecture. As a 2026-2027 NYSSkillsUSA Officer, I am
excited to encourage meaningful connections and
prepare students for leadership in the careers they
love. My favorite SkillsUSA essential element is
teamwork because it boosts productivity, reduces
individual stress, and in the wise words of spongebob,
“It’s better when you, plus me, equals we!” Through
leadership, I hope to grow by learning from the people
around me and gaining new experiences.
AREA VI VP - Halina Contreras is a junior at
Western Suffolk BOCES, where she studies
Dental Sidechair Assisting. As a 2026–2027 New
York State SkillsUSA Officer, I am excited to
represent students across the state and help
strengthen communication among members. My
favorite SkillsUSA Framework essential element
is Communication because I believe strong
communication is key to discovering true
leadership in others. I look forward to growing
alongside my peers and inspiring students to feel
confident speaking up.
Officer at Large Community Service - Bailey Douglas -
Is a junior at CV-TEC Plattsburgh and Ausable Valley
Central School, where she studies Education and Human
Services. As a 2026–2027 New York State SkillsUSA
Officer, I am honored to represent CTE students across
New York and am passionate about promoting kindness
and inclusivity within her school community and beyond.
My favorite SkillsUSA Framework Essential Element is
Integrity, I believe in staying true to oneself treating
others with honesty and respect. I look forward to
continuing to grow as a leader while empowering
students to find confidence in their voices!
Officer at Large Community Service - Jude Cabrera -
Is a junior at Harry B. Ward Tech BOCES, where I have
been studying Clinical Medical Assisting. As a
NYSSkillsUSA Officer, I am passionate about making a
change in the community, helping others find their
voice, and promoting leadership among students and
peers. My favourite SkillsUSA Framework Essential
Element is Adaptability/Flexibility because I believe in
being able to problem-solve promptly, rise above
challenges, and be prepared for the unknown. Jude
hopes to grow as a leader, team player and help others
achieve their goals.
