(11/1/09 meeting)

State Conference Hotel and Registration fees will remain the same for the 2010 state conference.  A materials fee of $25 will be placed on several state contests.  The contest affected will be listed by December 20, 2009.  Skills contests will require the contest to be printed by the chapters from the National Contest Specifications DVD and teachers to sign off that the skills covered in the contest specifications have been taught.

The Board of Trustees and Executive Council (State Officers) have passed several changes to the Constitution and By-Laws.  These will be posted by January 1, 2010 for the consideration of all chapters.  The changes will come before the New York State House of Delegates in April for a vote.

To support chapters in promoting state officer candidates, the board will support up to $1,500 per advisor for expenses (substitutes, stipends, travel, hotel, food, registration) for the advisors of the State President, Secretary, Treasurer, Reporter, and Parliamentarian.

March 1, 2010 board members will participate in CMI training followed by a Board of Trustees dinner and board meeting.  March 2, 2010 Board of Trustee members will join the State Officer Team in the Legislative Day in Albany, NY.

(9/17/09 meeting)
